2.1 Permitted Use: The Service is provided exclusively for transcription and documentation purposes. The Service is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, or medical decision-making. Users must rely on their professional judgment and expertise when utilizing Service outputs.
2.2 Medical Disclaimer: AutopsyAI does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Service is designed to assist with documentation only and should not replace professional medical judgment.

3.3 Data Retention: Users are responsible for managing data retention and deletion in compliance with local regulations. AutopsyAI assumes no responsibility for data stored on User devices.
3.4 Security Measures: AutopsyAI implements encryption (e.g. SSE-S3, AES-256, TLS 1.2) and other industry-standard safeguards to protect data. In the event of a data breach, AutopsyAI will notify affected users as required by applicable law. However, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
4.1 Ownership: The Service and all associated intellectual property, including algorithms and software, are owned by AutopsyAI.
4.2 User Content Ownership: Users retain full ownership of all Content they upload or process through the Service, including text, data, audio, and other materials. AutopsyAI does not claim ownership of User Content.
4.3 License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service as outlined in these Terms.
4.4 Feedback: Any suggestions or feedback you provide may be used by us without compensation or obligation.
5.1 Subscription Plans: The Service is provided on a subscription basis. Details, including pricing and features, are available on our website or app.
5.2 Billing: By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file.
5.3 Refund Policy: Refunds are issued at our sole discretion and will only be provided for cancellations made within the first 14 days of a subscription period.
5.4 Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription fees with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
6.1 No Warranty: The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including accuracy or reliability for legal or medical purposes.
6.2 Liability Cap: Our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid in the past six months, to the extent permitted by law. This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or violation of privacy laws.
7.1 Accuracy: Users are responsible for verifying the accuracy and completeness of transcriptions and reports generated.
7.2 Compliance: Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction when using the Service, including privacy laws and medical practice regulations.
7.3 User Responsibility for Exporting: Users are responsible for saving and exporting documents as necessary. AutopsyAI does not manage or oversee the exportation of user-generated documents.
8.1 Termination by User: You may terminate your use of the Service at any time.
8.2 Termination by Company: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or other policies.
9.1 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States.
9.2 Arbitration: Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its expedited rules. Arbitration will take place in Ohio, and each party will bear its own costs, unless otherwise required by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AutopsyAI, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
10.2 Company Cooperation:
AutopsyAI reserves the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of these claims. You may not settle any claim without our prior written consent.
11.1 Notification of Changes: We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Service and via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11.2 User Opt-Out: If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may terminate your use of the Service.
